How much time does it take for a moms group?

People ask me all the time how much time does it take me to do the moms group? I would say about on average about 15 hours a week.  I know it seems easy and not that much work but about 2 hours a day is spent on my moms group.  Trying to find things to do, I have to deal with the weather, people getting sick, etc.

 At first I thought I would have a small  little group and it would just be throwing things on the calendar like other mom's group's I have tried out. They put like a million things on the calendar for people to do but don't attend , and I  didn't want my group to be ran that way.  Now I know I can't do EVERYTHING with my mom's group but I didn't want 3 things going on in one day etc.   I wanted it to be more personal, get to know each other, make friendships, have our kids close.    It takes hours to plan a calendar , I thought it would be simple. HA I was wrong. Thankfully, I found MOM2MOMNJ she has great stuff on the calendar so I get a lot of ideas.  But again I want playdates at people's houses and it also get's expensive to do indoor stuff!   I also have to take into consideration of people that work, so you have to plan night time things, and weekend things for families and people that have weekend free to do things!  Speaking of which I need to work on June's calendar!  Which its hard to plan ahead when you don't know the weather, you just have to hope for the best or be ready to cancel at the last minute! So sometime's I have to cancel due to weather that morning, so please check your emails about an hour before the meet up if you can! 

My advice to anyone wanting to start a moms club is remember the time you have to put into it!  I enjoy it, it gives me a hobby to do, and I love the friendships me and my kids are making!  

 Eventually I would love to make chapters of my group , which is what my friends have asked me to do but that would mean more time!
